The Company was founded on the philosophy that we would endeavour to give the best possible customer service and enjoy ourselves while we were doing it. We work very hard at achieving both these aims. |
Since the firm started with only 20 odd properties to sell it has grown to the largest independent estate agency in Louth. The dozens of thank you letters, cards and bouquets received in the last 2 years are testimony to the way we are regarded by our customers. Our short listing in these prestigious awards is another indication of the customer confidence we try to inspire. |

| The Systems | |
Whilst the company is founded with the twin aims of giving the best possible customer service and enjoying ourselves while we are doing it we nevertheless recognise the estate agency process involved meticulous attention and a daily routine of doing the simple things properly. |
|
Starting with a "clean sheet" was an advantage, and Peter Mountain was able to start from scratch. We are committed to the use of the most up to date technology and the office is fully equipped with a networked market-leading computer system. |
|
Peter Mountain was very aware that the most common single complaint from clients and their Estate Agents was a lack of contact. The system was specifically designed to produce regular activity statements to all vendors on the enquiries received from their properties and the follow up to them. The system also prompts and diaries regular follow up to ensure the speedy progress of transactions. We also use the latest digital cameras and colour laser printers which means that we can produce a brochure with as many colour photographs as are required literally within minutes of arriving back at the office with the details. |
|
In the design of the system Peter was keen to see that the technology didn't get between the negotiator and the customers. The system is designed in such a way that human involvement is required to ensure that the mailing of new properties is targeted in a careful common sense way to applicants. |
|
The mailing list is updated every month. Applicants who have been on our list for 3 months are asked if they wish to remain. It is interesting that along with the request to remain on the mailing list we receive messages saying that we are by far the most diligent local agents in sending brochures to our applicants. |

As members of the Homesale Network we are connected via the Internet to 700 offices around the UK giving us a unique facility within the town being able to refer applicants and vendors around the country via the latest electronic systems. |
| Community Involvement | |
The company is also very much a local organisation. The Company sponsors the local Amateur Dramatic Society and has sponsored a five-a-side football tournament and every year offer work experience to local students. At least one of them has decided that Estate Agency is the career for them after spending a couple of weeks in our offices. |
